Bronze Loerie Award
To create KFC Add Hope’s first TV commercial, the team handed creative control to children supported by the program.
Add Hope feeds over 100,000 South African children daily, and the goal was to show how a meal can impact a child’s development. Using over 1,000 real drawings from these children, the campaign highlighted the difference between malnourished and healthy kids through their art.
The children’s drawings shaped the entire visual narrative, which was brought to life through detailed animation and design, resulting in a powerful, hopeful story.
