Solace Women's Aid - SEVEN YEARS OF CHRISTMAS
British CONTENT AWARD
To raise awareness of the fact that it takes women an average of 7 years to leave an abusive relationship, Solace Women’s Aid launched a Christmas campaign.
The team reimagined The 12 Days of Christmas as The 7 Years of Christmas, creating an animated film that gradually shifted from festive to frightening.
With music by Brit-nominated artist Self Esteem, the campaign powerfully portrayed the long-term trauma of abuse and helped Solace exceed their fundraising goal by nearly 34% during a tough economic period.
